When we break it right down, a belief is just a sense of certainty about what something means. There are no ‘wrong' or ‘right' beliefs (even though many people act as if there are).
All we do is make up stories in our head about what stuff means. Then we find evidence all around us to back up our belief, which we then decide is a truth.
And chances are many beliefs that we feel a deep sense of certainty about have been hanging around forever without us ever stopping to question them.
If your beliefs are working for you, rock on!
But if they are:
then it's time to question where that belief came from.
When you know this, you can start to look for evidence of where that belief isn't true.
Do you ever stop and question your beliefs?
