3 helpful tips to get your motivation back

Recently a leader was asking me about how to get your motivation back.

Here are my 3 go-to tips for this challenge:

  1. Realign to your vision or purpose - why did you choose the career you're in, the job you went for or the business you created? How do you want your team/customers to feel under your leadership?
  2. Be honest with yourself and check-in if there is something else going on in your life that you are avoiding. Maybe a strained relationship or perhaps poor health. If you're ignoring it, then it will likely impact your energy to get focused on your work.
  3. Focus on your strengths and the great attributes you bring to your role. Are you using them fully? If not, how can you incorporate them into your everyday work?
