How to set yourself up for a successful day

Want to know how to get the best out of yourself every single day?

 

The answer isn't found in what you do when you get to work, it starts from the moment you wake up.

 

And that means some sort of practice in the morning when you're feeling fresh, calm and focused which will enable you to set an intention for how you want the day to go.

 

Here are my top 3 tips on how to achieve this:

 

  1.  Make the commitment to find a practise that's going to work for you and to allow yourself space and time to make it happen.
  2. Start small and build on it. Maybe it's listening to a meditation. Maybe it's writing in a journal. Perhaps it's identifying what you're grateful for. It could be going for a walk, could be going to the gym. The possibilities are endless!
  3. Improve the quality of your sleep. Go to bed at the same time each night and wake up at the same time each morning to get your body into a rhythm.

 

Consider how much change you need to make in your morning routine and start with one thing then build (or if you already have a morning routine, mix it up to keep it fresh).
