It doesn't have to be lonely at the top

Uncategorized Jul 28, 2020

Have you ever felt lonely in your position as a leader? I know I have in the past!

Some days you perhaps don't agree with a decision made by your organisation, or you are a business owner who feels frustrated, full of doubt or lacking confidence. But you need to put on a brave front for your team.

Here are the 3 ways I recommend for you to get out of that rut:

  1. Find mentors - books, podcasts or a community (like the one you're in with me!)
  2. Get your self a coach - not a best friend, rather someone who is your biggest supporter and strongest challenger. Make sure it's someone you can trust - 1:1 coaching is a very personal relationship.
  3. Connect with like-minded peers. Find the opportunity to share what's going on in your world, open up and be supported whilst providing support.

If you are keen on option 3, then I would like to invite you to join us for the last Virtual Leadership Round Table in this series. But you need to act quickly, it's happening tomorrow the 29th of July at 12 noon. Bring your lunch and take time out for you, knowing that you will leave with actionable outcomes and an extra skip in your step! Just click the button below to register.
